Abortion pill

Medical abortion is a form of abortion wherein drugs are used to induce abortion. It is a relatively new procedure yet it has become quite popular. There are two Facts that work itself-
1. Privacy and Control
2. No requirement for Surgery
Medical abortion also has some inherent limitations. Firstly, it can only be done very early in pregnancy and Secondly, it can’t work if a patient is suffering from some disease like heart disease, diabetes etc.
There are currently two abortion methods used in clinics: surgical treatment and medical (or pill) treatment. The abortion pill, actually a procedure involving taking two separate pills is usually only administered if pregnancy is seven weeks older. If pregnancy is more than seven weeks then a surgical abortion is best option.
With a medical abortion, you will take one pill on your first visit followed by a second pill several days later. The pregnancy is therefore terminated over a period of days rather than instantly as with a surgical abortion.
The chemical compound in the "abortion pill" has been found to prevent the development of mammary tumors caused by the mutant gene responsible for the majority of breast and ovarian cancers.
Abortion pills are not the same thing as Emergency Contraception Pills. Emergency Contraception Pills are used to prevent pregnancy and should be taken as soon as possible after sexual intercourse. Abortion pills on the other hand are used only when a pregnancy has already been confirmed. As long
as women who are less than 7 weeks pregnant, the abortion pill is best option. It depends on women feeling, how that thought about it. Women should consult with a trusted health care provider to help to decide.
